An invitation from the Sussex Russian Centre Kalinka and the Brighton & Hove and London Russian Choirs - FREE EVENT

Saturday 12th March 2022 at 2:30pm

The choirs bring together music lovers from many backgrounds. They are united by the love of Russian choral music and they promote culture, unity and building bridges through singing. In this event our community choirs will sing for Peace.

The programme will present a wide range of Russian choral music: traditional lyrical, wedding and dance songs, Art Songs (Romances) from the 18th-19th centuries, classical pieces by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov and others, and a special addition - a Ukrainian folk song. The full two-set programme will also include solo and ensemble performances.

The event will take place on 12 March 2022 and will start at 2:30pm (doors open at 2pm) - please arrive in time.

Location: Main Hall, BHASVIC college, 205 Dyke Road, Hove. There is parking on-site but places may be limited.
